Brand Story
In India, 1 farmer commits suicide every 30 minutes. It’s the largest number of suicides recorded in human history. This alarming crisis motivated Prasad Reddy, the founder of House of Buck. Through his travels across India, he engaged with countless farmers and agricultural workers, leading him to realize the harmful consequences of favoring imported goods over supporting local farmers—an approach reminiscent of India’s struggle for independence. For Prasad Reddy, supporting local farmers is not just a mission; it is a responsibility. By using 100% Indian products for manufacturing, House of Buck directly contributes to the welfare of farmers while strengthening the Indian economy. Farming is an integral part of Indian culture, yet this heritage is under threat. House of Buck was founded to advocate for farmers by donating ₹10 from each product sold directly to their support. Additionally, we are committed to planting one tree for every sale, ensuring we not only support farmers but also contribute to a greener and healthier planet. The brand proudly uses only Made in India products to support Indian farmers, emphasizing sustainability through minimalistic design, appealing artwork, and eco-friendly packaging, all while sourcing cotton exclusively from Indian farmers.
